Ripon Printers:
Revamping Catalog/Book Printer for Market Expansion
In 2004, Ripon Printers, Inc. undertook a major marketing program revamp. Branding of the company became a primary concern because marketing research had shown that Ripon’s tangible marketing assets were not positioned appropriately and they lacked a strong cohesive presence in the market. All sales and marketing tools would need to be changed, but first, a brand foundation needed to be created.
Working in concert with Ripon’s marketing strategy firm, MondoVox created Ripon’s brand strategy and implemented various sales and marketing tools.
After the initial rebranding and repositioning project, we rolled right into Ripon Printers’ first set of sales and marketing tools, including capabilities brochure, sell sheets, case studies, trade show booth, newsletters, direct mail and website with online quote requests.

Brand Identity – We provided competitive research, analytical and creative sessions in the creation of the new look and feel for all Ripon Printers materials. We used modern yet friendly typography and a combination of colors and imagery that’s professional with a warm and friendly human touch.
Custom Brand Illustration – A key component of the new brand look are the custom illustrations used on all materials. Avoiding stock images prevents Ripon’s competitors from using the same images and confusing the marketplace.
